What’s your ideal work outfit like?

A. Well, I would usually go with something comfortable but also depends on the mood and weather. I would usually throw in a pair of straight cut pants with a basic tee paired with sneakers. That's usually my go out outfit, but if I feel like to dress up a bit; a nice shirt (print or textured) with trousers and maybe with a jacket might just do the trick.

Must have outfits this summer according to you ?

A. Basics. Always buy basic clothing. It's easier to pair with anything you wear and also it makes you look smart. Minimalism has always been the key to look good. Invest in nice sunglasses, it can always hike up your ensembles. Trainers and sneakers are always my favourite pieces to pair with so having a good pair would simple make you look your best.

Your go-to outfits.

1. Cuban-collar shirts OR basics?

A. I like wearing both, but usually I'd prefer cuban collar shirts only because I like wearing short sleeve shirts and cuban collared shirts make a style statement. Though these shirts are over hyped for the past year but it's still in trend and it simply looks good pairing with jeans or trousers.

2. Over sized blazers OR relaxed suiting?

A. I believe a gentleman should always stick to a slim fit suiting for formal wear. A well tailored suit is always the right choice. But if you are making a style statement, over size clothing are quite in but always make sure you wear just one piece as an oversize item while the others be of a proper fit. An over size blazer paired with an oversize trousers will only make the wearer look shabby and not fashion forward.

3. Leather pants OR denims ?

A. Denim jeans are always the go to pair. Leather pants are first of all difficult to wear, alot of discomfort, it traps the body heat and make your legs sweat and sticky and lastly, it's difficult to maintain. Denim jeans are season less, it comes in various range. From washes to fits, denim jeans are definitely the go to pieces for an everyday attire.

4. Street shopping OR brand obsessed?

A. Well, I would say street shopping for clothes and brand obsessed with shoes. You can wear a 100 bucks worth of tee and can still look great! But shoes, it tells everything about your style and personality. I believe that you can judge a person from the shoes he wears. You can still get good and cheap branded shoes than spending on cheap fake shoes you find in the street. So its always better to buy clothes you can find in the street but always invest on a good pair of branded shoes.

Basic styling tips on how to sport over the knee shorts and high waisted trousers ?

A. Shorts work better for a day look and high waisted trousers looks better for an evening look. You can always pair a short sleeved shirt or a tee or even both with the shorts and a nice shirt or a textured tee with the high waisted trousers. And again, sneakers with both the looks!

What outfits you’d wear to a party to steal the limelight?

A. I do not know about the part on stealing the lime light but I would always prefer wearing something clean to create a statement. Like the attached picture, a nice satin striped shirt with a slim fit trousers and a pair of original sneaks will definitely do justice for a party look. Throw in a sling or a Crossbody bag and you're good to go!

What’s your fave fashion brand and why?

A. For an everyday affordable look: Zara, h&m, Shein, Koovs, Ajio, Bravesoul for a few are easily accessible to purchase be it online or in store. For luxury fashion brands that we inspire from would be international brands like Gucci, Louis Vuitton, D&G, Balman, Thom Browne, Boss, Burberry, etc are few of the designer brands that I draw my styling inspirations from.

What’s your take on India’s fashion industry?

A. Well the fashion industry in India is pretty vast. It caters to various customers with different sense of fashion. So it is quite difficult to say something in particular. But the streetwear fashion in India has quite improved over the years. The millennials have surely made a huge change in the fashion industry and are much brand aware and up-to-date with the international trends.

According to the trend reports, India is still few seasons lagging but I am sure that it will be at par with the international level in couple of years. There are many upcoming brands and designers in India that caters high fashion standards and they are pretty much getting into the international fashion realm which is pretty great for the Indian fashion.
