Follow the conventional way!

While fashion labels are busy giving you tips on how to drape sarees the unconventional way, I opted for the traditional route. This post is super personal, an ode to my parents' hometown (Coorg & Mangalore). Here's me embracing the South-Indian in me.
Vintage gold
This Mysore silk saree details hand-woven flower patterns with rich Zari border. Ideal to be worn to any traditional event with a traditional or fancy strappy blouse. Make it count with a deep red lipstick, a pair of note-worthy earrings and a sleek bun.
Power red
This classic red Kanjeevaram saree can be donned to any Indian weddings. This number features a thick and glossy gold border. I wore it with a scrappy golden blouse (the one one golden blouse I own, tbh). The traditional V-shaped diamond ring speaks for the Mangalorean culture. A ruby woo lipstick and sleek mane knotted up in a bun will sure make heads turn as you step out in this saree.
